You may be eligible for Govt. Funding

  • OSAP provides grants and loans to students who demonstrate financial need. To be eligible for OSAP, students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, and must be Ontario residents. They must also be enrolled in an approved post-secondary program, such as a college, university, or trade school, and be taking at least 60% of a full course load. In addition, students must meet income and other financial eligibility criteria, which are based on factors such as family income, assets, and expenses.

  • The OGS program provides financial support to graduate students pursuing research-based programs in Ontario. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a master's or doctoral program at an eligible institution, and must demonstrate academic excellence and research potential. In addition, students must meet other eligibility criteria, such as being an Ontario resident and not receiving other major scholarships or awards.

  • The OTS program provides funding to international PhD students who are studying at eligible institutions in Ontario. To be eligible, students must be nominated by their institution and must have achieved academic excellence in their previous studies. They must also be entering their first year of a PhD program, and must demonstrate a commitment to research excellence and innovation.

  • The ODSP provides financial assistance and other support to students with disabilities who are pursuing post-secondary education. To be eligible, students must have a disability that is expected to last for at least one year and that significantly impairs their ability to work or study. They must also be enrolled in an approved program and meet other eligibility criteria, such as income and asset limits.

  • The Second Career program provides financial support to unemployed or underemployed individuals who are seeking retraining or skills upgrading to find work in high-demand occupations. To be eligible, applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, be at least 19 years old, and have been laid off from their most recent job. They must also demonstrate that they need training to find work in a high-demand field, and that they have the skills and experience to succeed in the chosen program. In addition, they must meet income and other eligibility criteria.
